The Crop Report

Gone Antiquing

Gone Antiquing

We hit the road again and put the show on the road. Steph and I are going to the Mid-Atlantic Antique and Garden Show in Poolesville, Maryland, to peddle frogs and mums. We can’t wait to hobnob with some Marylanders and see some antiques and friends, and maybe we'll see you there!

The farm will be just fine without us for a few days while our team babysits the spring babies and peonies that are starting to show up for Mother’s Day. The stock crop is looking stellar, it’s going to be a beautiful month of May! Not only that, but our former farm shop got a facelift this week as we painted it blue so it catches your eye from the road when you enter. It looks so good! We’ve all been stopping to let Aaron know just how good of a job he did getting it repainted.

And last but not least, the farm is now the proud owner of quite a few new benches. We’ve been growing without benches since the dawn of our time, but they’ve been something we could use to assist us in more ways than one, and now we have more than we know what to do with, so we are busy shuffling plants around to move them inside and fill them up. As the season breaks wide open, there’s never a dull moment on the farm, and we are excited to welcome you all back to enjoy it.

XOXO, Jess
