Changing the world with flowers has always been the heart and soul of the work that I do. It sounds so big and profound but the real joy I find are all the small ways that big statement happens daily here at Harmony Harvest.
My pride and joy has always been the journey of discovery with friends on this path and SO many discoveries and friendships have been ignited. From finding hidden talents while harvesting flowers to finding the courage to travel the world afar, the side stories I have been a part of have been wild to say the least. Â
But at the core of every discovery comes the growth and understanding of the art of growing. Learning these fundamentals in the garden gives pause to so many life applications and the quiet time tending the earth allows space to digest how it individually applies.
I love to watch people learn, small daily epiphanies of discovery are like fireworks of the brain and the farm is always buzzing from a show of these "life hacks" happening regularly. It's one of the many reasons we started offering farmer tours so that I could continue to share some of the knowledge that oozes from the flower beds. Â

However, my time and resources are limited and projects are always more fun together- especially when they foster growth and learning. That’s why I was overcome with the excitement of possibilities when Miya from Harris Seeds reached out to us to discuss working together to foster the discovery of learning in the flower world.
Harris Seeds has always been one of my favorite seed companies to work with. The beautiful catalogs always arrive in the dead of winter when I crave gardening most with so much helpful information that I readily used when I was still beginning my flower farming journey.
They provide seeds and supplies to gardeners and professionals nationwide and have continued to foster a real family feel to the business they run; I guess that’s why I felt right at home working with them when I first began.
We are excited to share our working experiences with the same plants and flowers you can buy to grow for yourself. While this partnership is like every new seed planted in our garden we know it's packed with potential to do a lot of good for a lot of folks if we give it time and continue to grow and cultivate it like everything else.
If you visit the farm you will find signs highlighting these beautiful flowers and this collaboration. We will continue to share virtually and on the farm our successes and journey with this partnership and are excited to be a connecting voice in the world of gardens and flowers. This is is just the beginning of another amazing friendship and journey of discovery and growth. To learn more about our partnership with Harris Seed read more here.
