We are halfway through one of the coldest months of the year, which makes me happy. Boy, it’s been cold here on the farm and the snow and ice just won’t melt! It finds us all looking for warm tasks and ensuring we are ahead of our planning. The cold bleakness also has a tone of loneliness that it adds to the mix and for folks who love to be surrounded by the beauty of the garden it can be hard to cope.

Over the years I’ve found my own ways of coping to the changing landscape of my life but one pillar always holds me grounded; my community, my people, my group. Folks I’ve surrounded myself with always help me through current struggles and points of isolation.
So I thought we should all be there for each other in the garden of life and decided to start a new little meet up called Flower Therapy. This will be an opportunity to chat with me about all things garden and life. Let’s find better ways to overcome our hurdles together!

I’m excited to begin this new virtual meetup next Friday. I’m going to cover the winter doldrums of winterizing the farm, proper planning for spring, and how to cope with a gardener’s winter. But this it’s interactive so you guys can lead the ship in a different direction just by showing up and chatting!
We will be offering flower therapy once a month so join us for our first grand debut and let’s make this world a little easier to grow in together.
